The art educator enters into a creation process in which his or her object is constructed in
parallel to an unfolding pedagogical scenario. His or her work is open to experimentation, risk and chance. He or she is attentive and constantly reorients actions according to the potentialities of a given situation.
When a project with learning and creation aims is constructed, the art educator experiences a process similar to that of an artist. The educator and the artist create in their respective worlds, they each arrive at an object or experience of a different nature.
The artist creates works and the educator creates pedagogical events. They both work with form as well as content in order to develop a personal approach in their pedagogical or artistic practice.
